		<description>Video clip capability took a big jump up in the last couple of years.   Look for 640x480 at 15 or 30 frames per second (fps).  30 fps is better, but takes a lot of memory card space. (Be sure to get at least a 1 GB memory card.  Watch for sales to get 1 GB for $20 or so.)
Both Sony and Canon have good video and sound, but look at different models to get the best.
All the cameras have about the same number of buttons and menus.   Those with manual and semi-manual modes have a few more.
As a 62 year old, I like those cameras that are a little bigger with bigger buttons.   I like the Sony Cybershot H-series and the Canon Powershot S-series.  These are $300 to $500 depending on model, but have long image stabilized telephoto lenses.  The Panasonic FZ50 and Fugi S9000 are even bigger with some barrel twist controls, but are $500 and up.
