Im in require of help, I desire to purchase my boyfriend a digital camera. What is the ideal 1 I can buy? I do not really know much about digital camera. Can someone help me?

How much are you willing to spend on it? Are you wanting it to be small?
I have the Nikon Coolpix s600. I love it. When I bought it, Circuit City said it was a 5 star camera and they have never had any returns on it. I really do recommend it.
It is a bit pricey though. I spent 230 bucks on it after tax and buying a 14 dollar memory card. Here’s a picture:http://digitalcameras.techfresh.net/wp-c…
Now, the Nikon Coolpix s550 is a step down from the s600, but more affordable. The Coolpix series is very compact and stylish while not taking away from the quality of the pictures. Here is the s550.http://www.tscamerahouse.com.au/images/n…
I definitely recommend the Nikon Coolpix series, except I don’t like the ones that are a step down from the s550. My sister has the s210, and the pictures are very orange..
Canons are very high quality cameras as well. They are pretty pricey, but they are definitely worth your money.
Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend a Sony. My other sister had quite a few different Sony cameras, and both had their problems. She had a compact Sony Cybershot, it broke. Now she has a bigger Sony camera, I’m not sure the exact model, but the pictures come out blurry and orange. She hates it.
It’s hard to recommend a camera without knowing your budget, or what style you are looking for. Good luck choosing a camera for your boyfriend. [:

If you are really on a budget and want the best quality for the money, check out the P&S Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28 [with a Leica lense] which has more features than most pro DSLRs that require auxiliary lenses not even equal to the single initial full-range lense that comes with the FZ28. Helloo……How much ya spending?
You see the problem, you say best digital camera and one answer was an $87 camera.
Make life easy for ya! About $160- Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS. 3X optical zoom, 8 megapixels, has image stabilizer, very good image quality.
If you want to spend upwards of $450 then you’re looking at digital SLRS.
