I am looking to buy my fiance a new digital camera for Christmas. What is a highly recommended one? Looking for decent zoom, easy to use, 10 or so MP, under $250, and durable (can take a drop or fall in water without harming the camera).

Canon also has a waterproof one but it can’t take such a beat down.
