I forgot to insert the memory card into the camera and took some pictures. I connected my Digital Camera to the pc with the USB cable but, I cannot transfer them into the computer.. It states there is no drive connected! However, when the camera has the memory card inserted, i can transfer the pictures into my personal really easy… Is it possible to transfer pictures from my digital camera to the memory card?
My camera is a Nikon Coolpix E4600

Go to the Playback menu options>copy (allows you to copy between internal memory and memory card and vice versa)
I noticed in the Playback menu there is a transfer marking item, which might allow you to select the photos being transferred.
