I don’t really like this product!
I find that is not comfortable the pop up flash.
The lens retraction is really TOO slow the same as the shooter (easy to lost THE moments).
The auto setting MANY times fails (really bad), you can’t trust on it to take a good picture. . . Is better to use manual settings.
The light capture is deficient the most of the times (it’s a shame, maybe the worst).
It was a big deception for me.

We liked the zoom, but were pretty unimpressed with the picture quality. We are trying to upgrade from a 3. 1 megapixel Kodak and honestly, we really couldn’t see much better picture clarity with the canon. You’d think that jumping up 4X in MP we’d see a remarkable difference. We didn’t.
We liked the camera, software is easy to install and use, and the zoom was nice, but too much money for the quality of pics. We are returning the camera and going to try the Sony Cypershot.

I came to believe firmly that Canon& #039; S point-and-draw the qualité and the clarté is simply unbeatable in l' industry during much d' années now. J' have possédé SONY, Olympe, Fuji in the passé. This camera is great for beginners and advanced users. I would suggest reading the manual if you want to be technical with your photos. Can’t complain about video otherwise I’d get myself a camcorder or the CANON SX20 IS which was my other debate but I needed a compact camera for now. I can’t complain about this camera because I used to have a cybershot, so it’s a major upgrade!
