J' recently bought this article and now it is thus wasted that I must sell it with a site of re-use for a fraction of paid price I
The reason of this is because the thing is at a cheap rate painted. J' took this camera with the ball d' students and l' had in a pocket upholstered in my pocket of tux when I wasn& #039; T using him except once when I l' dropped, but was to him always in the upholstered pocket. When I arrived at the house j' discovered qu' it had at least four places where painting had been notched in addition to l' camera. Why? I n' had any idea jusqu' so that I l' held in my hand and to me would be returned account that even touching it a certain painting emerged! This n' would not have been so bad if c' was the only problem with l' camera, but him isn& #039; T.
D' other things badly with this camera:
L' OIN: As a critic specified, l' OIN on l' arrangement of defect of this thing is very high. C' is an undervaluation. l' OIN is by the roof! only manner of taking the decent photographs with this thing with l' interior and outside, is d' to go to mode 100 and to place l' OIN differently for each different situation which you are inside. Not very convenient.
Firing speed: By taking a photograph, that takes almost two seconds to treat and show l' image you take. c' very slow is compared with half of the prices of some cameras of this one. this becomes also an enormous problem when you take photographs d' a fast object, like an animal or a car.
Fuzzy spot: When you take a photograph of quelqu' one with this camera, you must completely still on your subject! all the sudden movements will cause a fuzzy spot which will ruin the whole projectile. For example, when j' took a photograph d' one of my friends dancing, l' image was completely scrambled!
Rotation d' an image: Canon is well-known to allow l' user to turn an image while turning l' camera. On this model, when you turn l' camera, l' image l' one or l' other doesn& #039; T turn or it turns very late.
Menus: The menus are very muddling. For example, when I sought l' arrangement d' OIN in mode 100, I really had to carry out much work of conjecture before I l' found. Even then the function n' was not called & quot; OIN Setting& quot; but something different. I can include/understand to have to read the majority of the instructions for a more advanced camera. but this is supposed being a simple point and a growth. you should be able appear outside at least the basic functions without them.
Buzz: When you bourdonnez inside on your subject you are very limited at the distance which you can bourdonner inside. You have the very broad point of view, the point of view of half span, or the very narrow point of view. it n' there almost no intermediary has. the same applies to when you review images in mode of playback.
I hate to be thus negative, but they are my true experiments with l' camera and I want to inform d' other purchasers before qu' they throw almost $200 on this product. J' understood many good things about Canon& #039; the quality of S, but the result is this camera does not contain n' import which of him. hope you find this review useful. As for me, I am on the point d' to go purchase Nikon Coolpix S3000. if all is well a better chance with it will have.

This is a very small camera. It is the first one I have had without a view finder. It takes a while to get use to taking pictures without a view finder.
It takes great pictures even in low light.
This camera does not come with a flash card. I bought an 8 gig flash card at Radio Shack.

I get that this is a compact point & shoot, and i’m not a photographer, I don’t own an SLR. This is my nicest camera. I had a canon before and loved it, but this one seems to consistantly give me blotchy skin tones, poor portraits, and makes editing some of the basic features (red eye, exp) harder to get to than the old one. I find myself fussing with them constantly and never getting the desired shot in certain lighting.
Not sure if this is standard fair with higher MP camera’s- you see the blemishes better and the fine settings are more important? I don’t know. I will be going back to return it and give the Nikon S570 a try. Hoping for a better experience.

The first camera I ever remember was a Kodak Brownee. Tells you how old I am, huh? As my kids grew through their early years at home, an Argus C3 was my mate. Nothing automatic on these cameras. I could set my camera to produce what I could see in my mind. Never using a light meter, I missed the mark sometimes, but other times my efforts resulted in astonishingly original photos that captured the beauty or the love or the pathos of the moment. All these years later, my Cannon (fully automatic) seldom lets me down. It has a David price with a Goliath delivery in clarity and texture. In my novel “Wings of Forever”, on the covers and on many interior pages are images captured by this camera. I could have paid several hundred dollars more, but I’m glad I didn’t. It just wasn’t needed.
