I am searching for a pocket digital camera which has good features of professional photographer’s necessity and got a hot shoe on top of it. My purpose is to create a small home studio using a POCKET digital camera. Please, recommend me any type of the camera. Thanks guys!

There are no ultra-compact camera with hot shoes … due to the lack of manual camera controls and the tiny sensors found on “pocket” cameras, none can be considered professional.
Of all the cameras, only the Canon G9, Nikon Coolpix P5100 & P5000, Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3, allows the photographer some control over the f/stops and shutter speeds.

Pentax is awesome but dam the fuji films are so bloody small is nubelievable that they can pack so many features into it.

I will offer another vote for the G9. A great point and shoot camera that will take an external flash and offers you the ability to manually adjust settings.
Try looking at the Canon Powershot G9. It’s not the smallest camera out there but it’s certainly smaller than an SLR.
